I am a UK-based translator, proofreader and editor with 15 years’ experience, specialising in the subjects that interest me the most. I combine excellent language skills and a strong academic background with a frankly insatiable appetite for ongoing learning.
I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and the Translators Association.
I began working as a translator in 2001, after passing the Chartered Institute of Linguists’ Diploma in Translation. I went on to obtain an MA in Translation Studies with Distinction from the University of Birmingham in 2012.
My areas of special interest are the forestry and wood-based industries and all aspects of religion, but I also work with a range of other subjects including literature, linguistics, and medical/pharmaceutical documents.
I have translated articles and chapters for academic and trade publications, websites, dissertations, project outlines, press releases, novels, museum guides and more.
